Your Story
I want to hear from any readers out there. How bad have you gotten in the hole? How far into debt have you gotten either now or at another time in your life? Like an alcoholic trying to give up drinking, have you ever tried and failed to get rid of all those cards? Do you find it impossible to cut them up, cancel those accounts and be on with your life?
Use this page as a way to tell me your story. I want to hear from anyone else in a situation like mine. There are a lot of us out there. A lot of people who dread waking up in the morning, because they’ll have to face their crappy job and their mounting bills and all the other problems that come with being in debt.

I have a huge mortgage and student loans. Awhile back, I had a lot of credit debt, but I was able to focus on it and pay it off. Now though, with inflation giving me a kick in the ass and no raise in the foreseeable future, it’s getting harder and harder to pay the bills. People like me, who work hard and do what they can to get by, we’re the ones who deserve a bailout.
